42Experiment:About
From 42Experiment
You have just reached the 42 Experiment "About" page. If you have no idea where to start, this is as good a place as any.
This page is not a FAQ and should not become one. It should merely help you find your way through.
This page is a work in progress :-)
[edit] "I don't understand much, but I want to try"
First of all, congratulations. Choosing to learn about it all is a very important first step, and we are glad you took it.
We intend to have our own documentation about how DNS works and what it means to own a .42 domain. At the moment though, there is not much yet. Wikipedia has a very good article on DNS, which should get you started. When you are done with it, you will be able to return to the Main Page and move from there.
[edit] "I have mydomain.org, but I want mydomain.42"
Owning a domain elsewhere means you are probably at least vaguely familiar with DNS. If not, the Wikipedia article is recommended reading.
You should also read up about the possible Catches of running a .42 domain.
